Belinda R. Johnson-Hurtado graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law--Bloomington, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies, cum laude, from the University of Evansville. She is a 2002 Fellow, Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO).

Belinda serves as a volunteer attorney for the Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, and as a volunteer judge for the Sherman Minton Moot Court program. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Paralegal Studies Department at Ivy Tech Community College, Bloomington.
