Janice graduated with honors in 2001 from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in English and Mathematics from the College of Saint Francis in Joliet, Illinois. Prior to joining Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer, Janice worked in the human resources field for several years. She frequently presents seminars and serves as guest speaker to area human resources and personnel management groups, business and professional organizations, and businesses. Past seminars include "Disciplining and Terminating Employees," "Best Hiring and Screening Practices for Indiana Employers," "Overview of Key Employment Laws," "What Every Employer Needs to Know About Handbooks," "Technology in the Workplace," "Is Your Exempt Employee Really Exempt?" "Harassment Awareness Training," "What Every Employee and Employer Needs to Know About Employment Contracts," and "Yearly Employment Law Update." Janice is a contributing author of The Indiana State Bar Association's Employment and Labor Law Handbook for Indiana Lawyers. She also is the editor/writer of Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer's Employment Law newsletter, which is distributed quarterly. Janice's practice areas include employment law, administrative practice, and civil litigation.
